PHOTO CONTEST

Shortcut-Cigars periodically organizes photo contests on different topics, but always in relation to cigars. A prize (free vitola(s) or accessory) is offered to the winner.

Contests are over

Rules

• Minimum candidates: 10 persons.
• Only one photography per person and per residence.
• At least, one vitola (or part of a vitola) has to be shown on your work.
• Your picture has to be digital (jpeg only). The minimum size is 864 X 1152 pixels.
• All images taking part in the contest must be accompanied by a short text including the following information:
  1. Date and location of the photography
  2. Name of all the cigars shown on the picture
  3. Title
  4. Comments, if any
• Unless a restriction is stated in the subject, the candidates are free to submit black & white, sepia or color pictures.
• Touch-up images are not recommended, but will be allowed.
• Please send your photography to the following address: photo@shortcut-cigars.com and let us know your first and last name, postal address and email.

Terms and Conditions

• The candidates must only present images for which they possess the rights.
• The winner is chosen by a jury made up of 4 persons:
  • Pierre†, Artist
  • Isabelle, Photographer
  • Samira, Sociologist
  • Olivier, Scientist
  • Vincent, Cigar Aficionado
• The jury does not have to justify its decisions. Any legal action against the jury or Shortcut-Cigars is prohibited.
• The submitted images become the property of Shortcut-Cigars.
• All candidates taking part in the contest implicitly accept the terms and conditions stated in this document.
